Gathering - Sunday, 11/20 - Longing for Happiness

This week, we will look at what makes us happy. Some questions to think about: What role does pleasure play in being happy? What role does personal fulfillment play? Is happiness found in the moment or in accomplishment of future goals? What do you really long for? We will have some sharing as well as experiential exercises. Come and join us.

Definitely could be done, Anita.

It was a wonderful evening for me, and a good-sized group, maybe 16 people - did anyone count? The exercises and sharing seemed to be thought-provoking for many people. We then looked at our longings for the world, our community, our relationships, and ourselves. We ended with singing, and people spontaneously started holding hands and snuggling, and soon it became a "puppy pile". The singing really uplifted me - there seems to be a magic in it that causes me to feel very close to others, and very loved. Thanks to all who came.
